Justise Winslow

Justise Winslow has had an extremely up-and-down career, but this season has easily been his best. He’s putting up 12.4 points per contest on the most efficient marks of his career, 43.1 percent from the field and 39.2 percent from deep. He’s also reputed as a tough defender that would fit the mold of Utah’s mantra.

There aren’t any pressing rumors regarding a Justise Winslow trade, but considering that the Miami Heat have essentially been stuck in mediocrity since LeBron James‘ departure, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them shake things up a bit. Again, there’s probably not a ton that makes sense in a 1:1 trade between the Jazz and Heat, but if a multi-team deal came into effect in which Utah came away with Winslow, he could turn into a nice prize.

Justise is showing some of the best potential we’ve seen out of him in his young career, and if he could be molded into an effective 3-and-D player, he could be a heaven-sent on the Jazz roster. As such, when fielding calls and perusing potential deals, keeping tabs on Justise Winslow and the Miami Heat would be advisable for Dennis Lindsey and Co.
