JaMychal Green

JaMychal Green is an underrated player. He’s not Mike Conley or Marc Gasol, but he’s solid. The Memphis Grizzlies have a surging young rookie in Jaren Jackson Jr. that plays the same position as Green, which could definitely make him available.

Green is a tough, physical player. He can also step out and shoot threes, though. He’s shooting 39 percent from three this season. Having a stretch-four like that is so valuable. The Jazz don’t really have one, since Jae Crowder isn’t your typical power forward. They had one last year in Jonas Jerebko, who is currently making a difference for the Golden State Warriors.

Green is only 28 years old, too. He’s entering his prime years and could help the Jazz right away. If it comes down to it, having to choose between Green or Derrick Favors, I could see them picking Green. It hurts me to say that, admittedly.

Once again, Thabo Sefolosha is a player that could be involved in this trade. A draft pick would definitely be necessary, since the Grizzlies are rebuilding. That’s likely all they’re after.

There’s a lot of ifs that come into play in all four of these potential trades, but they’re certainly intriguing. I think these four players could make a big difference for the Jazz. They all arguably could have long-term futures with the franchise, too.

It’s going to be wild when the trade deadline comes around, but the Jazz might be able to sneak in and make another nice move. If it’s anything like the Jae Crowder deal, it’ll be a success.
