As the Utah Jazz ring in the New Year, the team and its players are looking to take things to another level. Here’s a resolution for 2019 for each player on the roster.

New Year’s eve is upon us — that magical time when we throw our old calendars out the window (and, with them, all our failings of the previous year). For the Utah Jazz, 2018 was a banner year for the franchise; the team advanced to the second-round of the NBA playoffs, Rudy Gobert was named Defensive Player of the Year and Donovan Mitchell became a household name.

Much as people around the world make resolutions to ensure that the year ahead is even better, the Jazz will look to take another step forward as a team in 2019. Because, as good as they were this past year, they definitely have some failings of their own to shed.

Tough schedule or not, a game under .500 is not where they wanted to be at this point.

So, as we get set to ring in the new year, here are the things that each player needs to do in order to make that happen.
