Utah Jazz: Three things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving

Despite some concerns about the current state of the Utah Jazz, fans of the team still have plenty to be thankful for both this season and beyond.

As painful as it is to say it, there seems to be a lot of negativity surrounding the Utah Jazz right now. Unfortunately, considering that they’re sitting at an 8-10 record, good for 13th in the Western Conference, have lost four of their last five games and are coming off yet another discouraging loss, this time at home to the Sacramento Kings, the pessimism is certainly understandable.

At one point, the saying was, “it’s early, this Jazz team will figure it out and turn things around.” However, with each passing game (we’re now quickly approaching a quarter of the way through the season), the likelihood of that happening becomes less and less probable. There is still ample time at this current juncture, but the Jazz’s woes go much deeper than just the 8-10 record, and if they don’t right the ship quickly, they’ll be in hot water.

Even so, considering that today is Thanksgiving after all, I thought it would be nice to momentarily step away from the negativity and the harsh criticisms of a team that is definitely under-performing thus far, and instead focus on the good. As such, I’ve rounded up three reasons that Utah Jazz fans should absolutely be thankful for their team and its future.

It’s not always easy to see the sun through the storm clouds, but I promise, Utah Jazz fans, that there’s still plenty to be grateful for with this team.
