Ten games into the 2018-19 NBA season, the Northwest Division picture is still very much unclear. But how do the Utah Jazz measure up at this juncture?

We’re about 10 games into the 2018-19 NBA season and the month of November is well underway. At this juncture, it’s hard to get any solid grip on how the NBA standings are ultimately going to shape up, but we can at least say we’re starting to learn some interesting things about the various teams.

For this exercise, we’ll be taking a closer look not only at the Utah Jazz, but seeing how they measure up to the rest of their Northwest Division foes. Unfortunately the Jazz find themselves sitting at 4-6 through their first 10 games and with a record that’s only better than the dysfunctional Minnesota Timberwolves.

Can things turn around for the better? Sure they can! But one thing is evident, the Western Conference is as tough as ever, and there are definitely no slouches in the Northwest Division. As such, the Jazz will have their work cut out for them if they hope to become a dominant force in both their conference and division.

With that said, let’s take a look at how the five Northwest Division teams have stacked up so far and try to presume how their fortune (or misfortune) will continue throughout the month of November.
