The Jazz will attempt more threes per game
Keeping in line with the trends of the NBA, the Jazz have continually upped their 3-point attempts per game throughout the years.
Even if you just want to go five years ago, the Jazz were attempting just 19.2 threes per game. That number has increased by roughly three attempts per season. If the preseason has been any indication, expect that trend to continue heading into the new season.
They attempted 38 threes against the Perth Wildcats, 31 against the Toronto Raptors, and then in their most recent preseason game, the Utah Jazz attempted a whopping 48 3-pointers. That mark would have been a franchise record for a regular season game.
This is a trend that should continue on into the new season. The Jazz are likely to play more lineups with a non-traditional stretch four. Which means more spacing and more threes. The Jazz are absolutely showing that they are going to be shooting 30 plus 3-pointers per game.
