Of Utah Jazz players both past and present, which guys have the best chance of appearing in the All-Star Game in the 2018-19 season?

The Utah Jazz were in a rare spot last season. Of all 16 playoff teams, they were the only squad that didn’t have a player in the All-Star Game. In hindsight, Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert likely should have qualified, but injuries prevented him from getting the nod. Meanwhile, Donovan Mitchell had a case, but ultimately his youth and rookie learning curve prevented him from getting in while in the deep Western Conference.

Not only were the members of last year’s Jazz squad left out of the All-Star game, but among those selected for the event, there wasn’t a single former Jazzman either. Talk about a lack of representation.

However, considering the hype surrounding the Utah Jazz this upcoming season that could help their current members get into the coveted event, as well as a return to health or heightened opportunity for other former Jazz players, it’s entirely possible that we could see a good number of current or former Jazzmen in this year’s edition.

With that being the case, let’s check right in on which Jazz players and alumni may very well find themselves suiting up for an All-Star squad in the 2018-19 season.
