Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics

This is one that I can see being a bit controversial for some people. I may be a bit higher on him than others, but I have been really impressed by what I have seen from Jaylen Brown early on in his career. With all the young talent on that roster, is seems as though he has become the forgotten man.

During the regular season, Brown was extremely solid for the Celtics. He averaged 14 points and five rebounds per game, while shooting a very impressive 39.5 percent from three. He was also tasked with guarding some of the premier offensive wings in the league, and had a defensive rating of 100.3. For reference, that is the best on this list.

What really has me high on Jaylen Brown, though, was his performance once Kyrie Irving went down for the year due to injury. He took his game to a whole other level when it mattered most for the Cs.

In the month of April, he averaged 20.8 points to close out the regular season. He then continued that production with 18 points per game throughout the playoffs, and nearly 20 points per game during the conference finals. Everyone wants to talk about how great Jaysom Tatum was, and rightly so, but it seems like we are forgetting how great Brown was.

He is also still just 21 years old, and will continue to improve.
