Golden State Warriors

10/19 in SLC, 12/19 in SLC, 2/12 in The Bay

We’ve been wondering about it for years. The Jazz proved it to some extent last season by thwomping the Golden State Warriors in three out of regular seasons contests. Yet here we are again with the same question.

Will the Jazz be able to challenge the Warriors this season?

Two playoffs ago, they didn’t even come close. Golden State swept the Jazz en route to one of the easiest NBA Championship victories ever. As I mentioned, though, Utah was confident against the Warriors in the regular season in 2017-18. They weren’t intimidated by any means and looked every bit a potential Warriors kryptonite. Could this be the year they truly become the undoing of the reigning champs?

I’m not so sure that I’m ready to go out on that limb just yet, but the Jazz are definitely climbing ever closer to that mark. And the contests between these two teams should be not only a good measuring stick for the Jazz, but also a legitimate duel between heavy weights.

The Jazz are built in such a way to challenge the Warriors. Seeing just how far they can push them will be one of the highlights of the upcoming campaign.
