Nuni Omot

Just like Royce O’Neale, Nuni Omot went undrafted out of Baylor. He flew under-the-radar, and is knocking on the door of the NBA.

He’s got the size and the length, standing at 6-foot-9 with a seven-foot wingspan. He is a capable 3-point shooter, and a big time athlete. He’d fit nicely in today’s NBA of position-less basketball.

Omot played for the Warriors in Summer League this year, averaging 3.9 points and 3.0 rebounds. He’s overcome quite a lot so far in life, leaving his place of birth Kenya as an infant, struggling financially and not getting any Division 1 basketball offers coming out of high school.

Hard work pays off, Omot is a prime example of that. He’s an NBA talent in my eyes, and think he will reach the highest level of basketball very soon.
