Ben Moore

Ben Moore is a guy that a lot of people probably aren’t aware of. But that will change, because with Moore’s hustle, defense and versatility, he should be able to find NBA work pretty easily.

He was with the Indiana Pacers on a two-way contract last year, and they still have a two-way slot open this year, so they could easily give it to Moore once again. Indiana’s GM Kevin Pritchard loves Moore, and has even compared him to Bruce Bowen in the past.

That’s high praise.

Moore went undrafted out of SMU last year, but caught the eye of the Pacers. They brought him into training camp and had him play for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Indiana’s G-League affiliate, before signing him to that two-way contract.

Moore is someone who I personally think would fit perfectly with the Jazz. He takes good shots, he’s a great passer, he defends and he plays his heart out. He always brings hustle and pure effort. Check out this play from Summer League this year:

Yeah, this kid can play. He has role player potential written all over him. Moore is absolutely someone I would look at if I were an NBA General Manager.
