The Utah Jazz have one roster spot left for camp, who gets it?

Diamond Stone

I’m putting Diamond Stone on this list because of how well he played for the Jazz during summer league. He proved he still has NBA talent and deserves to go to training camp with a team.

Stone was a five-star recruit coming out of high school. He played one year of college basketball at Maryland and he was then drafted 40th overall by the New Orleans Pelicans. He was then traded to the LA Clippers.

He has one season of NBA experience under his belt. He played seven games with the Clippers in 2016-17, averaging 1.4 points in 3.4 minutes.

Stone averaged 11.2 points and 5.6 rebounds for the Jazz in summer league this year. Utah signing Isaac Haas to a deal hurts his chances, as they are both centers. Still, I think Stone deserves a chance, whether it’s with the Jazz or another team.
