Cleveland Cavaliers

  • ’17-18 Record: 50-32
  • ’17-18 Season Series: 1-1
  • ’18-19 Advantage: Jazz

The Cleveland Cavaliers are in a much better spot this time around compared to the last time LeBron James bolted in free agency, and that should leave Cavalier fans upbeat.

They still have Kevin Love, who is one of the more underappreciated stars in the league, in my opinion. He’s a double-double machine, and will try to lead the Cavaliers to the playoffs in the weak Eastern Conference.

Obviously losing LeBron is devastating, but the team will compete. I don’t think they are a playoff team, but they will certainly not bottom out and tank the season.

I think the Jazz match-up really well against Cleveland. They overpower them in terms of shooting, athleticism and defense. I like Utah’s chances of potentially sweeping the season series.
