Philadelphia 76ers

  • ’17-18 record: 52-30
  • ’17-18 Season Series: 2-0 (76ers)
  • ’18-19 Advantage: 76ers

After the competitive Rookie of the Year race between Ben Simmons and Donovan Mitchell, Jazz and Philadelphia 76ers fans really don’t like each other very much.

Mitchell and Simmons are both young studs and are going to dominate this league for many years to come. The Jazz and 76ers are going to be comparable, but right now, I think Philadelphia is the better team.

Health is a big concern for both of these squads. If both teams remain relatively healthy next season, 50-plus wins will be extremely likely, in my opinion.

Philadelphia did lose some depth with Ersan Ilyasova and Marco Belinelli bolting in free agency, but they had a good draft, and are hoping for some improvement from young players like Markelle Fultz and Furkan Korkmaz. Wilson Chandler and Mike Muscala were also good additions.
