Atlanta Hawks

  • ’17-18 Record: 24-58
  • ’17-18 Season Series: 2-0 (Hawks)
  • ’18-19 Advantage: Jazz

I feel pretty comfortable saying that the Atlanta Hawks will not sweep the season series against the Jazz in 2018-19.

It’s going to be another rough year for Atlanta. They are in complete rebuild mode, and are mainly focusing on developing the younger players on the roster like Trae Young and John Collins.

Top to bottom, the Jazz have a superior roster compared to the Hawks. I do like the young players the Hawks are adding, but they have a long way to go in terms of being competitive. The losing will hurt, but the experience will be huge.

I don’t see the Hawks giving the Jazz any problems, but you can’t underestimate any team in the NBA. Utah will have to be ready for a fight every single night as they learned in both contests against Atlanta last season.
