Minnesota Timberwolves

  • ’17-18 Record: 47-35
  • ’17-18 Season Series: 2-2
  • ’18-19 Advantage: Jazz

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Utah Jazz had some intense duels last season. We saw multiple altercations, including one in which Jeff Teague was ejected for hip checking Ricky Rubio into the front row.

I feel like the starting lineups for both teams are pretty evenly-matched, but the Jazz have a much better bench and play as a team, whereas the Timberwolves have a lot of chemistry issues.

Minnesota has a lot of question marks when it comes to player relationships and Tom Thibodeau’s rotations. It puts them in an interesting spot as they look to earn a second consecutive playoff berth in 2018-19.

The Jazz are a better team, and I look forward to some more battles against Minnesota in the future.
