The 2018-19 season is suddenly fast approaching, so it’s time to see how the Utah Jazz match-up with the rest of the league.
Slow news days, no basketball games to watch, just simply counting down the days until NBA basketball is back. Welcome to the dog days of the NBA off-season.
The regular season feels so far away, but it’s really not. The preseason will start later into next month, and as soon as you know it, the Jazz will be in Sacramento for the first regular season game, battling the Kings on October 17th.
With the bulk of free agency over, and the NBA releasing the schedule, I felt like now would be a good time to project how the Utah Jazz will fare against the rest of the league. It’s not going to be easy, but then again, in a professional league such as the NBA, it never is.
Utah will be up against some of the NBA’s top talent every night in the grueling Western Conference. But the Jazz are one of the top teams in the league and have some top talent of their own. The Jazz are a team that just suck the life out of you. They make things so difficult with defense, toughness and an offensive system that will drain defenders.
They are a team that will show up on an opponent’s calendar in the middle of February and just make the opposition sigh. You simply want to see this team as little as possible.
With that being said, let’s hop into this.
