Georges Niang will be an impact player for the Utah Jazz

Georges Niang could very well become the biggest surprise for the Utah Jazz this upcoming season as he was fortunate to merely get a contract. However, much like Royce O’Neale last season, I like Niang’s chances of turning into a diamond in the rough.

He has several NBA-caliber skills, and his size and versatility actually nicely fit a need that the Jazz roster has had for a while. Therefore, my prediction for Niang is that he’ll find himself contributing for the Jazz on a consistent basis as he once again proves how savvy the Jazz front office is at finding under-the-radar players and turning them into impact players.

There’s a lot to look forward to in 2018-19, especially if the numerous Jazz players with high potential are able to make strides towards reaching their ceiling. As some or perhaps many of these bold predictions come to fruition, expect the Utah Jazz to be an absolute force in the Western Conference.
