Alec Burks will make winning contributions in several games

During the playoff series against the Houston Rockets, we saw a different Alec Burks than we’d seen previously. Despite having largely fallen out of the rotation, he was able to make an impact by playing to his strengths and performing well. If he can improve his decision making and control on the court, then Burks may be able to work his way back into Utah’s rotation to some extent.

He’ll likely still see a lot of DNPs, but my bold prediction for Burks is that he will be a useful weapon for the Jazz when they need someone who can hit the floor and create his own shot. On at least a handful of occasions, Burks will be called upon to elevate the Jazz in certain matchups and he will deliver big time.
