It may be the dead time of the NBA off-season, but Jared Woodcox and I still got together to discuss the most recent NBA news and our thoughts on Utah Jazz basketball!
Episode 39 of the Three-Point Threat Podcast is here, and Jared Woodcox and I got together to discuss everything you need to know about this NBA off-season and your Utah Jazz!
For Point One, we discussed the most recent NBA news and the trades of big name players like Carmelo Anthony for Dennis Schroder, and Kawhi Leonard for DeMar DeRozan. We went over our thoughts on each trade, and gave our expectations for how the teams will perform this next season.
For Point Two, we transitioned to the Utah Jazz and our thoughts on the Summer League now that it has officially wrapped up. We keyed in on the players that are guaranteed spots on the team, and we feel could begin to have an impact: Georges Niang, Tony Bradley and Grayson Allen.
Finally, for Point Three, Jared and I continued our positional spotlights and picked up on the Power Forward position. The Jazz are surprisingly thin at the position, and last season only had Derrick Favors and Jonas Jerebko listed as power forwards. We also touched on next season’s team, which will likely feature more Jae Crowder at the position.
