These five items ought to be on the wish list of every single Utah Jazz fan as we begin to look forward to the upcoming 2018-19 season.

Just like fans of any squad, the most highly coveted prize for supporters of the Utah Jazz is without a doubt an NBA Championship. While the talented and determined core of Jazzmen led by Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert could very well hoist the Larry O’Brien trophy one day, the sad fact of the matter is that the odds of doing so in 2018-19 are pretty slim.

As long as the Golden State Warriors remain intact with the likes of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and now DeMarcus Cousins (gulp), the rest of the league is simply a step behind. Until the Warriors can be either dethroned or dismantled, they’re heavy favorites to continue winning the NBA Championship.

Even so, the upcoming season should be an exhilarating one for Jazz fans. The team out-performed expectations in 2017-18 and is bringing back essentially the same exciting squad. As such, while a championship is a wish held by all but that likely won’t be fulfilled, the following are some epic wishes that all Jazz fans ought to have for next season that are quite a bit more realistic.
