The Utah Jazz have had a pretty conservative offseason thus far, but that is by no means a bad thing considering how successful the team was last year.

While there is still time for changes to be made or new deals to take place, overall the Utah Jazz offseason has been pretty cut and dry thus far. Rather than take massive risks and make major tweaks amid great fanfare, instead the Jazz have largely slid under the radar by mainly keeping their squad intact.

That may be a disappointment to some who enjoy the theatrics and drama of offseason shuffling. But for those who enjoyed what the Jazz accomplished in the latter half of the season last year, it should be an exciting fact. A Jazz team that appeared to be one of the most daunting in the league to close out last season has received the chance to run it back and give it another shot in 2018-19.

When looked at in that way, the Jazz offseason becomes a little more exciting. But how wise or risky was each decision in reality? While it’s impossible to predict how all of them will ultimately pan out, I’m going to try to do so right now. The following are my grades on each major Utah Jazz offseason decision up to this point.
