Raul Neto – Stay healthy and maintain deep-ball efficiency

Barring a catastrophic number of injuries, Raul Neto is never going to be a consistent contributor for the Jazz. However, as a third point guard option, he’s excellent to have around and plays his role well. In order for Neto to have his best 2018-19 possible, he needs to focus on two major things – staying healthy and continuing to shoot well from deep.

Neto suffered countless injuries all throughout the 2017-18 season that dramatically damaged his impact. However, despite all that, he managed to remain phenomenal from behind the arc. Raul converted on a career-high 40.4 percent of his deep balls over the course of the season. His 3-point shooting was a big reason why Dennis Lindsey was high on bringing the Brazilian guard back into the fold.

His size will always create some limitations for him, but if he can avoid injury and continue to capitalize on the shooting that has become one of his greatest strengths, this next season will be a complete success for him.
