Marco Belinelli

Another Philly sharpshooter quickly came off the market as it was announced that Marco Belinelli had signed with his former San Antonio Spurs team. Belinelli agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal with the Spurs.

That’s a good bargain for San Antonio to add a familiar and serviceable player. One interesting thought as well is that the Belinelli addition makes Patty Mills somewhat more expendable, and Mills is a player that has been paired with Kawhi Leonard to make salaries work in potential trades, especially to the Boston Celtics.

I’m by no means saying that’s what is in the works, but it, along with everything relating to Kawhi and the Spurs, is something to keep a very close eye on in the coming days.
