Although by and large the 2017-18 Utah Jazz season was an overwhelming success, let’s not pretend that it didn’t come with more than its fair share of heartbreaking moments.

Let’s face it, if you’re a Utah Jazz fan, you’re probably feeling pretty good about the team and the bright future ahead. While it would’ve been awesome to see Utah go even further into the playoffs, a second-round defeat at the hands of the Houston Rockets is plenty to be proud of. This Jazz team absolutely exceeded any and all expectations placed on them heading into the 2017-18 season.

Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean that there weren’t some tough times along the way to get to that point. The past year has had plenty of highs for the Jazz, but it’s also been littered with no shortage of heartbreak along the way.

As such, I’ve decided to embark on the painful quest of remembering some of those particular moments. Let me warn you – if you’re faint of heart or easily bogged down by bad memories of the past, you may want to skip this one. If not, though, join me as a I revisit the five most gut-wrenching moments of the past year for the Utah Jazz.
