Utah Jazz: The 2018 Kyrylo Fesenko Awards For Radness In Jazzdom
By Ryan Aston
In this look back at the Utah Jazz regular season and first-round win over OKC, we honor radness in Jazzdom; from Donovan Mitchell to new jerseys.
If you’re a hardcore fan of the Utah Jazz, you may be feeling some conflicting emotions right now. Sure, the Jazz band shocked the world by making the playoffs and dispatching the OKC 3 in six and that’s pretty groovy.
However, the team also just got waxed by the Houston Rockets, finds itself without the services of starting point-man Ricky Rubio and could be facing a quick exit in Round 2.
Those things are all what one may refer to as “sucky.”
Nevertheless, I’m here to tell Jazz Nation to forget all of that. The 2017-18 season has been one of the RADDEST on record for the franchise. So many great things have gone down in the last year and there still could be more to come.
In an effort to both recognize and celebrate the good things Jazz fans have received this season, it’s my honor and privilege to present to you the first-ever Kyrylo Fesenko Awards For Radness In Jazzdom; named after the trash-talking, rim-rocking man himself, Big Fes.
Perhaps nothing in Jazzdom reflects radness like Fesenko (Kelly Tripucka’s mustache comes close). That said, radness abounds during what’s been a banner year for the Jazz.
So, without further ado, here are the honorees!
