Three-Point Threat Podcast Episode 31: Reviewing Utah Jazz Playoff Performance
The latest episode of the Three-Point Threat Podcast reviews the first round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs as well as all things Utah Jazz!
The first round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs is in the books and for the second straight season, the Utah Jazz have advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals! As the fifth seed, the Jazz once again find themselves matched up against the first seed in the West, but this year there’s a new top dog in town – the Houston Rockets.
The Rockets were dominant all season long and have certainly kept that up so far in the playoffs, easily toppling the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round and rolling to a big victory in Game 1 against the Jazz.
With all this playoff excitement taking place, it should come as no surprise that the latest episode of the Three-Point Threat focuses on exactly that.
For Point 1, I give my quick thoughts on each first round series, summing up why they all went down as they did while briefly diving in to what we should expect next.
For Point 2, I specifically tackle the Utah Jazz’s Game 1 performance against the Houston Rockets. Obviously the contest didn’t go as Jazz fans might have hoped, but you might be surprised by some of the reasons for optimism.
Last of all, for Point 3, I look ahead to the next three games of the series between the Jazz and Rockets, giving my insight and predictions for what lies ahead. Utah bounced back from a tough Game 1 loss last round and hopefully they’ll be able to do so once again this time around.
