Prediction with Mitchell: Jazz win 97-89

Prediction without Mitchell: Thunder win 102-88

In my mind, this game is going to hinge on Donovan Mitchell’s availability. If he can give it a go and play at at least 80 percent, I expect the Jazz to win this game. They should play with much more energy and commitment on the defensive end, and I would expect Quin Snyder to add wrinkles to improve them on the offensive end as well.

If Mitchell does not play, however, I just don’t know if the Jazz will have the firepower to keep up with the OKC offense.

This will be the most important game of Utah’s season. If they can steal home court advantage from the Thunder by splitting these first two games, they will have a high chance of winning this series. If they lose, they will have an almost impossible uphill climb.
