Isaac Bonga (Germany, 18 years old)

I don’t think Isaac Bonga gets talked about enough. This is a six-foot-nine point guard who is just oozing with potential. He’s a very intriguing prospect and could be available for the Jazz in the first round.

Standing six-foot-nine with a seven-foot wingspan, Bonga is a very unique talent. He legitimately plays point guard, and he plays it well. He has great playmaking abilities, consistently getting into the paint and trying to find the open man.

Bonga’s biggest weakness is his jumpshot. He is not a good shooter. But, he’s only 18, and has plenty of time to develop. His mechanics are good, it’s just a matter of shooting it consistently and confidently.

Whether he comes to the NBA right away, or plays some more years overseas before making the jump, Bonga is worth a first round pick. He’ll need to get stronger, but right now, he can play any position 1-3. He’s a really interesting player and definitely a guy to keep your eye on him.
