With just over two weeks left in the Utah Jazz’s 2017-2018 regular season campaign, the playoff picture should be starting to clear itself up, right? Wrong. Which teams should Jazz fans hope to see in a potential first-round matchup?

Just four games separate the Western Conference’s three and eight seeds, which leaves a handful of potential playoff matchups in play for the Utah Jazz.

While Utah has yet to clinch its own spot in the postseason, it’s not too soon to look at each of Utah’s potential first-round opponents and rank them in terms of how the Jazz would fare in each series.

Every team that currently sits in the West’s playoff picture is a potential matchup for the Jazz. While some series are much more likely than others, let’s take a quick look at each team currently in the West’s top eight seeds.
