D-Wade returns to Heat

TO HEAT: Dwyane Wade. TO CAVALIERS: Protected future second-round pick.

Padmore: We all knew this would happen eventually, as a Wade return to South Beach was inevitable. It’s going to be awesome to see Wade in a Miami uniform for the rest of the season, and hopefully he can play the rest of his career and retire with the Heat.

Aston: I actually feel like D-Wade still has something to offer, even in his diminished state. That said, if all that comes of this is a couple more big shots from No. 3 in front of the crowd at American Airlines Arena, it will have been worth it. I’m a sucker for nostalgia acts.

Keeffer: Sure, why not. I will say, it always seemed odd seeing The Flash where something other than a Miami jersey, and it will be nice for him to finish his career back in South Beach.

Woodcox: Wade is back where he belongs! Need I say more? Good on the Cavs for arranging it as part of their overhaul.

Thorpe: You could see a weight lifted from Wade’s shoulders in his press conference after the trade. Who knows what trading Lebron’s BFF will do to the King’s future in Cleveland, but this trade still feels right.
