Let’s take a look back at my preseason predictions for some team awards for the 2017-2018 Utah Jazz.

Before the season started I created my own set of Utah Jazz-centric team awards and set out to fill each position with the player I felt would be most deserving by season’s end.

The NBA’s All-Star break has come and gone and I decided to take a look back at how each of my original predictions has shaped up at the league’s “midway” point.

Along with looking back at just how wrong (or right?) I was, I will use the invaluable tools of hindsight and a 58-game sample size to reselect each award.

Here are each of the awards we’ll look at:

  • Sixth Man
  • Most Improved Player
  • Game of the Year
  • Surprise of the Year
  • Team MVP

Let’s get right to it…
