Donovan does Vinsanity

This was the clincher; a throwback piece to Half-Man, Half-Amazing himself, Vince Carter.

After Nance executed a double alley-oop off the glass that caught everyone except those with the most keen of eyes off guard, he garnered a perfect 50 from the judges. Mitchell needed 47 to hold off the Cavs big man, so he needed something big.

More specifically, he needed a little Vinsanity.

Mitchell quickly shed his Jazz City Edition jersey to reveal a Raptors throwback in Mr. Carter’s No. 15 and went on to emulate the future Hall of Famer’s famed reverse, 360 windmill jam. Afterword he posed and mugged for the cameras just as Carter did in the 2000 Dunk Contest.

Just like Carter, he had locked up the dunk title with an epic throwdown.
