Last, but certainly not least, is the Utah Jazz’s very own Donovan Mitchell. We’ve seen what he can do all year long with his mind-blowing jams, but just in case you needed a reminder, be sure to check out the dazzling compilation below:

In my mind, Donovan’s biggest advantage is that of the four competitors he has the ability to cock his arm back and crush it down at the rim with the most force and quickness, often making for the most savage-looking jams. If he’s able to use his strength and combine it with enough flash and theatrics, he could very well come out on top himself.

Mitchell has been pretty coy about what he plans to do in the Dunk Contest, but rest assured that he’s got some stunning tricks up his sleeve. Regardless of the final outcome, I’m relatively certain that Donovan is going to make Jazz Nation proud tonight.

Quite honestly, this is about as even of a field as I could imagine. All four have differing strengths and advantages, and I really could see any one of them coming up big and taking the title. At the end of the day, it may very well come down to who is simply able to execute and make the undoubtedly thrilling jams they have planned.

Earlier in the week, I picked Donovan Mitchell to come out on top in the contest and while I truly think the title is completely up for grabs, I’ll stick with that guess going into tonight.

NBA All-Star Saturday Night begins at 6:00 PM MT with the Dunk Contest coming after the Skills Challenge and Three-Point Contest.
