There are plenty of reasons for Utah Jazz fans to tune in to tonight’s NBA All-Star Weekend Rising Stars Challenge as rookie sensation Donovan Mitchell will hit the floor.

For Utah Jazz fans tuning in to tonight’s NBA All-Star Weekend Rising Stars Challenge, the three things they’re probably most looking forward to watching probably look a little something like this:

  1. Donovan Mitchell

  3. And, yes, Donovan Mitchell

The rookie phenom that has been superb all season long has garnered even more national attention of late as he has led his Jazz team in scoring during an impressive 11-game win streak. And while players suiting up for Utah tend to be overlooked when it comes to All-Star festivities, between tonight’s Rising Stars Challenge and tomorrow’s headliner event, the NBA Dunk Contest, Jazzman Donovan Mitchell is set to make a name for himself.

But since he’ll first be suiting up for the U.S. Team in tonight’s Rising Stars Challenge, let’s take things one step at a time, shall we?
