Alec Burks

If there’s one player the Jazz would like to move more than any other, it’s probably Alec Burks. He may have been considered a core piece at one time, but that time is in the distant past.

Burks is finally healthy after four years of perpetual injuries and has provided scoring punch off the bench for the Jazz. However, he’s no longer in the team’s long-term plans. Moreover, his contract, worth $10.8 million this season and $11.5 million next year, doesn’t quite jibe with his production or his role on the team.

The Jazz are said to be gauging his market and the Oklahoma City Thunder are reportedly among the interested parties. That said, teams are generally looking to shed salary right now — not add to their books.

He can still contribute in the right situation, but a move with Burks may be hard to swing.

Trade odds: Low to moderate
