Key #1 – Dig deep to find energy
Although the Jazz have looked better on the road of late, they still have a long way to go to prove that they’ve fully overcome their woes in that regard. For much of the season, they’ve had a problem with coming out flat-footed and failing to play with energy, focus or intensity away from home.
There’s even more of a concern of that happening on the back end of a back-to-back after travelling from Phoenix to San Antonio. What’s even worse than usual is that it appears that the Jazz had some problems with their flight last night and didn’t even make it into San Antonio until much later than expected, in the early hours of this morning.
The Utah Jazz team plane was diverted back to Phoenix due to mechanical issues...they are currently still on the ground

And people wonder why teams legitimately struggle on the second night of back-to-backs, especially on the road… How well would you perform in your job off that little rest and that much travel?
Anyhow, the fact of the matter is that a random turn of events has stacked the cards against the Jazz even further. Nevertheless, if they’re to have any hope of topping a daunting San Antonio team, they’ll need to dig deep and find a way to come out with energy to maintain the electrifying play they’ve displayed of late. The Spurs are without a doubt a tough out, so it will be critical that the Jazz find a way to come in with the same intensity they’ve played with throughout this current streak.
