The Utah Jazz will put their winning streak on the line as they face off against a tough San Antonio team on the road tonight.

The Utah Jazz are officially balling, ladies and gentlemen. With four straight wins overall and two in a row of 30 points or more, one of which came over the defending champion Golden State Warriors, things are finally beginning to look up in Jazz land. The offense has been clicking, the defense has been staunch and the chemistry has been off the charts.

But with so much going Utah’s way of late, they’ll be in for a nice test this evening as they visit the San Antonio Spurs on the second night of a back-to-back. It’s been a bit of a rocky season for the Spurs (according to their standards anyway) as they’ve had to deal with a number of injuries, most notably that of Kawhi Leonard who has missed most of the season.

Still, even with their struggles, they still boast a 34-20 record and one of the best marks in the league at home of 22-5. Although the Jazz have now won three straight road games, they’re still just 8-19 away from home, so fighting to earn a win in San Antonio will be a real challenge. Not only is LaMarcus Aldridge having an All-Star season, but of course the Spurs have one of the most brilliant coaches in the league and the players across their roster are always capable of stepping up and having big games.

Therefore, tonight’s contest will give the Jazz a chance to truly show their worth. Have the last four games been little more than a nice hot streak, or are they going to continue to be able to keep pace with some of the best in the league? In order to put a fifth straight win under their belt, they’ll have to perform extremely well in these following key areas.
