Key #1 – Avoid a hangover from Tuesday

As I mentioned in the intro, Tuesday was an absolutely phenomenal performance. After thoroughly dominating the best team in the league, it would be really easy to go into Phoenix simply expecting the win. But that’s the exactly the kind of attitude that could result in a potential upset loss.

The Jazz have been pretty guilty this season of following up big wins with lackadaisical efforts and ugly losses. And while they’ve won their last two games away from home, their track record of poor road performances all season long can’t be ignored.

So it will be crucial that they come in to Phoenix focused and that they set the tone early. Although the Suns are far from a formidable opponent, they’re still a squad of professionals capable of surprising their foes on any given night as they’ve done on several occasions this season including last time against the Jazz.

In other words, Utah simply needs to be prepared. They absolutely should win this game and if they end up falling short, it will likely be a result of their own lack of focus and discipline. If they stick to their game plan and execute as they have the past three games, the victory should be theirs for the taking.
