I thought about giving Donovan Mitchell and A-plus just for his recent “The Office” shout out on Twitter…

#BringBackTheOffice

All jokes aside, the truth is that I am running out of things to say about Mitchell’s electric rookie season and what it means for Utah’s future.

Mitchell continues to be Utah’s most reliable shot creator, averaging 22 points per game in January. Mitchell has struggled from three as of late, but fans should not concern themselves with the somewhat streaking shooting of a rookie.

Having both of the franchise’s cornerstones on the court in Mitchell and Gobert has seemed to give the Utah Jazz and Jazz fans a new hope. Whether that hope is for Utah’s long-term future or for a late-season playoff push, fans should be happy with a foundation built on these two future stars.
