Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets

Although Kemba Walker is said to be on the market, Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan has made it clear that it will take an All-Star return to net his own former All-Star. Obviously, the Jazz don’t have one to deal. And they wouldn’t part with potential All-Stars Gobert and Mitchell in any trade.

However, if they could swing some kind of a three-way move, Walker and Mitchell would instantly become one of the most exciting backcourt combos in the league.

Walker is averaging 22 points and six assists per game this season and, although the Hornets are scuffling through another mediocre campaign, he continues to be one of the more impactful players in the league. Charlotte is posting a net rating of 5.6 when he plays this season, which is an improvement of nearly 19 points per 100 possessions over when he sits.

Super long shot here, but we can dream…right? The real play for Walker may come via free agency in 2019.
