Ryan Anderson, Houston Rockets

To varying degrees, it seems as though Ryan Anderson’s name is floated by Jazz fans and prognosticators alike during every trade deadline or free agency period. As a proven floor-spacer and scorer, he’s the kind of player the Jazz could use next to Gobert.

See a pattern here?

With less shots to go around in Houston, his scoring has dipped to 10 points per game this year, but he’s still shooting the three at a healthy clip and doing the things he’s always done. Anderson’s downfalls are defense and his sizeable salary.

The Rockets allow 108 points per 100 possessions when he’s on the court and owe him two more years at an average of $20.8 million per annum. Still, if you can somehow shed Alec Burks’ deal for room and are convinced he can hold his value, Anderson isn’t a crazy get.
