The struggling Utah Jazz will look to earn a much-needed road win tonight over the West’s bottom-dwelling Sacramento Kings.

It’s been bad times in Utah Jazz land of late as the team has now lost 15 of their last 19 games and regardless of their opponent or the location, they’ve been unable to even remain competitive in several of those losses. Monday’s recent loss to the Indiana Pacers was a perfect example. Don’t get me wrong, the Pacers are certainly a force to be reckoned with this season, but the 109-94 drubbing the Jazz were handed on their home court was still inexcusable.

The defeat dropped them to 17-26 on the season, lowering their already minuscule playoff hopes even further. Unfortunately, Utah’s record on the road is even more concerning as they’re just 4-18 in contests away from Vivint Smart Home Arena, and they’ll be forced to play in such a situation tonight as they visit the Sacramento Kings.

On the bright side of things, the Kings do just so happen to be the worst team in the Western Conference, so Utah has that to look forward to. Considering Sacramento’s struggles this season, one would suppose that the Jazz could go in and figure things out even on an opposing team’s court, but with how much Utah has struggled of late, even that is far from a guarantee.

So if the Jazz hope to take care of business and finally get a win over a team that they quite frankly should beat, it will be vital that they perform well in each of the following three key areas.
