The Utah Jazz will look to close out their current four-game road trip strong as they visit the Charlotte Hornets tonight.

The Utah Jazz earned a rare road win on Wednesday night as they toppled the Washington Wizards in exhilarating fashion. However, it isn’t the first time that they’ve sneaked in a thrilling victory amidst several losses, so only time will tell if the latest win was finally a sign of turning things around or just another random spike of minor success.

If there ever was a time to turn things around, though, now would be that time. As I mentioned earlier this week, the Jazz are now in for a streak of six winnable games that could very well help them quickly reverse their fortunes if all goes well. They’ll have to play considerably better than they have for the better part of a month, but based solely on the strength of the opponents they’ll face, they should be in good shape.

They’ll kick off that important stretch tonight with the final contest of a four-game road trip against the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets are in the midst of an absolutely disappointing season which has them at 11th in the East and a 15-24 record, but they still aren’t an opponent to be overlooked.

With the likes of All-Star point guard Kemba Walker and center Dwight Howard, who can’t be slept on, the Hornets could very well cause some trouble for the Jazz. Especially considering their struggles on the road, they’ll have to be on top of their game and focus on the following key areas to come out with the W tonight.
