Joe Johnson has started to show signs that he can still be a productive offensive weapon in the NBA.

While it is difficult to watch Johnson struggle through injuries and losing streaks in what could be his final season, it is nights like last night where Johnson reminded us of why many refer to him as a “professional scorer”.

Johnson helped guide Utah to a big 107-104 win, scoring 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. He also added four rebounds and four assists to his totals.

The 36-year old is averaging 52 percent from the field and over 53 percent from downtown in the month of January. While it may be a small sample size, all indications say that Iso-Joe can still ball.
