Utah Jazz. DERRICK FAVORS. B+. . PF/C

Overall GPA: 3.08 (B)

Here is what Derick Favors thinks about your trade rumors…

While we may never know the true meaning behind this tweet, D-Faves has found himself at the center of Utah’s trade rumors as the NBA’s trade deadline approaches. And if this tweet is indicative of Favor’s feelings about his name being tossed around in potential trades, he doesn’t want to hear it.

Will this be Favor’s last appearance on our grades or will Utah elect to have him play out the final season of his contract?

Despite the rumors, Favors has done an admirable job filling in for Gobert.

Before sitting out Wednesday’s game with a knee injury, Favors had amassed eight straight double-digit scoring performances. Favors is also averaging 12 points and nine rebounds a game to start 2018 while also adding nearly two blocks a game.

Will Utah continue to ride Favors’ success or will they try to parlay his recent play into a trade? Only time will tell, but for now, Favors gets his highest marks of the season.
