Prediction – Wizards 114, Jazz 107

Dating back to last season, the Utah Jazz have matched up exceptionally well against the Washington Wizards. However, considering Utah’s road woes of late and Washington’s hot play, I have a feeling that streak is set to come to an end tonight. As I mentioned, the Wizards will almost certainly be out for revenge and I have a hard time seeing the Jazz able to match wits with them at the Verizon Center.

Especially with John Wall back in action, this bout is bound to be even more of a challenge for the Jazz. I think they’ll hang tough, much like they did against the Miami Heat in Sunday, but at the end of the day, I believe that it’s the Wizards that will find a way to prevail.

The Jazz have yet to win a game in 2018 and thus dropping yet another contest to the Washington Wizards would be a painful blow. Utah is currently eight games under .500 and is running out of time to turn things around if they hope to have any chance of qualifying for postseason play.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe that the third game of a road trip against a rapidly improving Wizards team is the ideal situation for a major turnaround. Therefore, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Utah simply continue to tumble.

They’ll tip-off against the Wizards at 5:00 PM MT this evening, then head to Charlotte on Friday to finish off the road trip.
