Utah Jazz power ranking round-up: Are the Jazz the best of the worst or worst of the best?

Interesting.

I find it odd enough that ESPN elected to keep Utah’s 20th position constant after losses to New Orleans, Denver and Miami. CBS Sports took it one step further and decided to bump Utah up two spaces in their weekly rankings after their winless week.

While I appreciate the optimism, the increased ranking seems hollow due to their fairly substance-less weekly report.

I also agree with CBS in placing Utah as the West’s tenth best team.

The potential is still there for Utah to crack the top eight again in the West. However, a healthy Gobert might be necessary to do so.
