3) More Donovan Mitchell

Can this kid play, or what?

Donovan Mitchell wasn’t quite sure what his future held ahead of the NBA Draft. He was even considering a return to Louisville for another season before electing to go pro. Just over six months later, he’s the NBA’s Rookie of the Year front-runner and the most dynamic offensive player the Utah Jazz have.

At 28.5 percent, his usage rate is already pretty bananas. But I say let ‘er rip! The Jazz need to continue to feed Mitchell and, although he’s shown the ability to be effective off-ball as well, Coach Quin Snyder should find ways to get him the rock even more.

The answer could be handing him the reins as the team’s starting point guard. The Jazz need to get the most out of Ricky Rubio, but Mitchell is the head of Utah’s offensive spear and should always be treated as such. Be it as a point-man or a Dwyane Wade-esque two-guard.
