12) Phoenix Suns
On the day after Christmas, Tyson Chandler and the Phoenix Suns did something that I — and probably a lot of other hardcore fans — call for on the regular. With the ball sideline-out, a shot to win the game, but with little to no time to get off a proper shot, they instead elected to lob the ball toward the rim and let Chandler do his thing.
This was the result —
The Grizz were super confused by this, particularly because the ball was over the cylinder. However, since you can’t legally shoot before the inbounds, there was no basket to interfere with or goaltend. Jay Triano is my hero for drawing this one up and the Suns have been better of late.
